1) Centennial Pavilion

The Centennial Pavilion Hall, built in 1947 to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the country's independence, is situated on the inauguration spot for Liberia's presidents. The Centennial Pavilion Hall is filled with many historical charms. On the walls are photos of Liberia’s former presidents along with information on how long they governed.

The hall is also a good place for weddings, diplomatic meetings, and music festivals. This is definitely a place to visit when in Liberia; the security guards are there to give you a tour of the hall, showing you the rich history of Liberia.

2) Liberia’s National Museum

The museum was established in 1958 with support from UNESCO to obtain, preserve, and display cultural artefacts and other historical items, which depict the country’s heritage. The museum was closed for some time but recently reopened on the 28th of November. Located on Broad Street, Monrovia, the Liberia National Museum is a place to see while in Liberia. Take a tour around the three story building and see all the preserved cultural artefacts and historical items from the past.

3) Wulki Farms

The farm is an agricultural venture, located in Careysburg, Liberia, and was established in November 1998. Wulki Farms is the largest livestock and vegetable farm in Liberia involving a wide range of production such as poultry, piggery, cattle breeding, crocodile farming, fish farming, pineapple farming and juice production, hatchery, snail faming, vegetable farming, and cocoa farming.

The farm is not solely for agricultural purposes; it is also a great place for a family retreat. It has an amazing pool, a golf course with spectacular views, and animals to pet and feed. There is also a car to drive you around the farm.

Wulki Farms offers seasonal activities for kids at Wulki Farms Kids Camp. The camp is the perfect summer experience for any child who enjoys outdoor play. Camp begins in November and runs through May each year. Every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. your child has the opportunity to learn about nature and play at the same time. The camps offers swimming classes, horseback riding, martial arts, tennis lessons, basketball, skating, arts & crafts, soccer, kickball, campfires, drama, and nature. Wulki Farms is definitely a place to hang out with kids over the weekend!

4) Providence Island

Just a short drive from waterside market in Monrovia, Liberia is Providence island. Providence Island is where the free slave first arrived  in Liberia. the site isn’t the most glamorous place in Liberia, but it is one of the most historical site in the country.
